4 Day Relax Trip

Day 1: Phuket-Khao Lak (100 km)

A jeep picks you up from your hotel for the discovery of Phuket's west coast, with its unknown beaches,banana-, rubber- and pineapple-plantations. We also take a look at Phuket's longest beach, Mai Khao, where between November and February, giant seaturtles come ashore to lay their eggs.

Over the Sarasin-bridge, we proceed towards the Lampi waterfall, where you can take a swim in the cool water, climb the waterfall or just enjoy your lunch. In the late afternoon, we arrive at our beach bungalows.

Day 2: Khao Lak-Khao Sok (80 km)

After breakfast, we leave for Takuapa: "the end of civilisation". Indeed, once past this former international harbour, we arrive in a very different world. In the middle of this splendid wilderness, the Khao Sok National Park, we'll first make an elephant trekking before exploring a few trails by foot.The Park is South-Thailand's largest tropical rainforest and a natural habitat for many rare animals and plants.

We stay overnight in tree top bungalows (with electricity and private bathroom).

Day 3: Khao Sok-Krabi (150 km)

First, we go meet an hermit monk, living in a small cave temple. Through a remarkable landscape of strange limestone formations, we drive to the Chieo Lan lake with its spectacular views and spicy snacks (I dare you).

In Ao Luk, we take a longtailboat through the mangrove swamps in search for prehistoric cave paintings in the Dark and Lod Caves.

We stay overnight in Krabi town, where you can enjoy a relaxing traditionnal Thai massage. It hurts just a little bit.

Day 4: Krabi-Phuket (180 km)

In the early morning, we visit one of South-Thailand's most renowed meditation centers, the Wat Tham Seua or Tiger Cave Temple, located in the jungle.

Hereafter, we explore the really amazing coastline of Krabi, with arguably Thailand's most stunning beaches.

We return to Phuket through the Phang Nga area.
